When Notch added nether portals to minecraft, some people thought that they would work a bit differently to how they do. They appear to be doorways and doorways are usually walked through. But in Minecraft you just stand in the middle of them. I thought it would be fun to make an animation where they are more like doorways that are to be walked through, like the portals from Valve’s Portal. It also gave me experience with greenscreens since I used one to make this animation (Although my greenscreen was actually coloured red!). Set ngal omerum hu tìpiakru.
